Job Summary:
We are currently hiring certified Hoist Operators for temporary assignments on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of personnel and/or material hoists, ensuring the smooth movement of workers and materials on-site. Assignments will vary based on project needs and availability.

Responsibilities:

Operate construction hoists to transport workers and materials safely
Monitor load limits and ensure safe weight distribution at all times
Perform daily pre-operational checks and basic equipment inspections
Communicate with site personnel via radio or hand signals
Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed
Maintain a clean and safe hoist area
Follow all site safety regulations and company policies
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately

Requirements:

Valid hoist operator certification (required)
Previous experience operating construction hoists
Strong understanding of safety procedures and load limits
Ability to communicate effectively with site crews
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Steel-toe boots and required PPE
Reliable transportation to various job sites

Work Conditions:

Temporary and on-call assignments
Outdoor work in various weather conditions
Work at heights and in active construction environments
Day shifts, with occasional overtime

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Weekly pay
