Job Summary:
We are currently hiring certified Hoist Operators for temporary assignments on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of personnel and/or material hoists, ensuring the smooth movement of workers and materials on-site. Assignments will vary based on project needs and availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate construction hoists to transport workers and materials safely
  • Monitor load limits and ensure safe weight distribution at all times
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks and basic equipment inspections
  • Communicate with site personnel via radio or hand signals
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed
  • Maintain a clean and safe hoist area
  • Follow all site safety regulations and company policies
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately

Requirements:

  • Valid hoist operator certification (required)
  • Previous experience operating construction hoists
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and load limits
  • Ability to communicate effectively with site crews
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Steel-toe boots and required PPE
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites

Work Conditions:

  • Temporary and on-call assignments
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Work at heights and in active construction environments
  • Day shifts, with occasional overtime

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience
  • Weekly pay
