We are currently hiring experienced Carpenters for temporary assignments on construction sites. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, formwork, and finishing work depending on project requirements. Assignments will vary based on client needs and availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately
  • Construct and install framing, walls, floors, and structures
  • Install doors, windows, trim, and other finishing elements
  • Perform formwork and concrete forming when required
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE

Requirements:

  • Previous carpentry experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work on short notice
  • Steel-toe boots required
  • Own tools are an asset
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites

Work Conditions:

  • Temporary and on-call assignments

  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Day shifts, with occasional overtime

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience and skill level
  • Weekly pay
